Deer

March 2006

If the White-tailed Deer perceives danger, the fur on the tail gets "fluffier" and the tail will raise as the deer starts to run.

The next 15 pictures show a deer sensing danger, then relaxing a little, then sensing danger again and running off.

The danger appears to be over, but seems to come back in the next several photos, when the deer turns and runs off.

The deer runs off, away from the perceived danger.
